Solar Power Project (ASCA – Going Green!!!)
As an international brand, Rubis Energy has keyed into the objectives of the Paris Agreement which seeks to lower global warming to 2oC by the end of the 21st century, and Ringardas Nigeria Ltd (RNL) cannot but align with this noble mission. In our current form, there is heavy dependence on fossil fuels, costly diesel consumption, and direct carbon emissions in daily operations.
Our head office has embarked on a Solar Power project in a bid to affect the transition to a decarbonization regime, or at least a drastic reduction of it. This program is intended to cause a lower environmental footprint, lower electricity costs, and engender a greener energy mix in the short term. As a renewable energy project, it is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by an estimated 32.8 tons annually, equivalent to planting 164 trees yearly.
