Commissioning of our Newly Built Bitumen Tank (TK8) at Port Harcourt Terminal

May 31st, 2023 will go down in the history of Ringardas Nigeria Limited, Port Harcourt terminal as a memorable day when the largest bitumen tank (6000MT) was commissioned with state-of-the-art facilities. The relevance of bitumen as a core element in road construction cannot be over-emphasized, as the demand for bitumen in the building and construction industry is rising daily, and to maintain our leadership position in the sales and distribution of bitumen and bituminous products in Nigeria, Ringardas decided to expand its storage facility at the Port Harcourt Terminal. This capacity expansion will bring more flexibility to Ringardas supply logistics and business operations in Nigeria.

The tank was commissioned by Mr. Fredric Royer, CEO of Rubis Asphalt Middle East, accompanied by Ringardas Management. The Management thanked the entire team for a job well done and expressed satisfaction with the quality and compliance of the project with the company’s HSE policies and regulations.

 

The safe arrival and subsequent berthing of the vessel recorded a joyful moment, which was followed by a welcome celebration organized to mark the special event by the management of Ringardas Nigeria Limited. In attendance was a representative of the Managing Director (Dave Van Den Bulck), Mrs. Nana Shaibu who is the Corporate Affairs Manager, the Head of Operations and Technical, Mr. Thibaud Salle, the Shipping manager, of Rubis Energie, Capt. Subhash Singh and the Terminal Manager, Mr. Iyalla Dadiki. Thereafter, the team was led into the vessel by captain Marin to familiarize with the internal environment and equipment of the Vessel while the management uses the opportunity to wish MT. Bitu Rivers a happy sailing through the voyages back to its expected destination.
